PHOTOS BY HEATHER McLOUD After two years off because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Miss Royal Scoop pageant returned to the Ice Cream Social calendar this year. The annual pageant, held at the Berryville Community Center, featured one big change from previous years, as organizers decided to hold the pageant on Thursday, which gave the winners more opportunities to interact with visitors and guests at the Ice Cream Social.

Pauline Bonham

Pauline Bonham, a resident of Green Forest, Ark., was born October 29, 1932, in Nauvoo, Mo., the daughter of Oliver (Ollie) Earl and Gladys Lander. She departed this life and went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday, June 12, 2022, in Berryville, Ark., at the age of 89. She was a long-time active member of Green Forest Assembly of God, Green Forest, Ark., until her health began to fail.
