Input wanted on ES parks master plan
A group of citizens will get the opportunity to provide input on a master plan for city parks in Eureka Springs. At its June 21 regular meeting, the Eureka Springs Parks Commission spent a majority of time talking about a planning committee that will be formed to discuss ideas for city parks.

Tigers hoping to build on experience
After a 3-0 loss to Berryville in the final game of the 2021 football season, Green Forest coach Greg Tibbitt said his team needed to develop an offensive identity. Fast forward eight months, and Tibbitt is feeling better about the Tigers’ offense heading into the 2022 season.

Football camp starts July 27
The Berryville Bobcats 2022 Football camp for athletes entering kindergarten through the ninth grade will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday and Thursday, July 27-28, at the high school football field.

Flag Anniversary
Daughters of the American Revolution participated with Holiday Island Elks Lodge 1042 for the 245th Anniversary of the American flag on June 11. The celebration and ritual included Elks Lodge officers and members, Boy Scout Troop No. 67 and the Daughters of the American Revolution. The American Legion posted the American flags.
