Flag Anniversary

Daughters of the American Revolution participated with Holiday Island Elks Lodge 1042 for the 245th Anniversary of the American flag on June 11. The celebration and ritual included Elks Lodge officers and members, Boy Scout Troop No. 67 and the Daughters of the American Revolution. The American Legion posted the American flags. Local students honored at UAFS

Several Carroll County students have been named to the Dean’s List for the spring 2022 semester at the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith, the school has announced. Local students named to the Dean’s List are Marco Garcia Montes, Natalie Roy al and Samantha Witherby, all of Berryville; Hayden Nance of Eureka Springs; and Bianca Rosales and Katherine Tanner, both of Green Forest.
