Free coats available in October
October is Free Coat Month at the Mercy Berryville Auxiliary Thrift Store on Main Street in Green Forest. Through a partnership with the Green Forest United Methodist Church, the thrift store is offering one free coat per family member while supplies last.

The Carroll County Solid Waste District will be offering a special bulky waste collection event in October that will allow county residents to dispose of old, unsightly and broken furniture and other items between 8 a.m.
