Knott named county’s Officer of the Year
Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge honored Berryville police officer Pauline Knott as the Carroll County Law Enforcement Officer of the Year at the 20th annual Officer of the Year awards and recognition luncheon at the Benton Event Center on Tuesday, Dec. 13.

Playing without their senior point guard, against probably the best Class 4A team in the state, the odds were stacked against the Berryville Bobcats last Friday night at Bobcat Arena. And the odds held, as a talented Farmington team beat Berryville 68-28 in the 4A-1 conference opener for both teams.

Depth might be an issue for the Berryville wrestling team, but coach Ryan Whetham said there’s no shortage of talent or work ethic on the Bobcats’ roster. “We’ve got a bunch of new, young kids, ninth-graders and a few 10th-graders that have never wrestled before, and that’s good for our future,” Whetham said.
