Users of Berryville’s city water and sewer systems will soon be paying a little more. At its regular meeting on Tuesday, Feb.

A Green Forest High School English teacher who is charged with one felony count of internet stalking of a child, along with a misdemeanor count of second-degree endangering the welfare of a minor, has resigned from his position.

An attorney representing former Eureka Springs Parks and Recreation director Justin Huss filed a lawsuit last week in Carroll County Circuit Court against the city, its parks commission and Mayor Butch Berry.

The Carroll County Quorum Court approved a resolution declaring the county to be “pro-Second Amendment” at its regular meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 21, but the approval didn’t come without some opposition.

Students in the Berryville School District will start Christmas break a little later than usual during the 2023-2024 school year after the approval of a district calendar at the school board’s regular meeting held Tuesday, Feb. 21.

The Green Forest School Board approved a series of measures at its regular meeting on Monday, Feb. 20, including one that will refurbish a heavily used facility.

Cast and crew sign-up and auditions for The Great Passion Play in Eureka Springs will be held Sunday, March 5, on the grounds of The Great Passion Play. Those interested in returning or becoming a member of the cast may apply between 2 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. that day.
