Back to School: Classes resume after unscheduled break

The Mercy Health Foundation’s annual Black & White Charity Ball will return to an in-person fundraiser this year. The event, which benefits Mercy Hospital Berryville, will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, at the Inn of the Ozarks in Eureka Springs.

A Berryville man was killed in a three-vehicle accident on Saturday, Feb. 4, in Madison County- According to a preliminary report by the Arkansas State Police, Timmy Cain, 63, of Berryville was driving a 1997 Ford westbound on U.S. Highway 412 near its intersection with Arkansas Highway 127 at 5:32 p.m. when it struck the back of a westbound 2019 Freightliner. Cain’s vehicle then crossed the center line and sideswiped an eastbound 2019 GMC before leaving the roadway in a southwest direction and striking a culvert before coming to rest in an upright position, the report says.
