Detailed plan in place for ES Hospital expansion

Plans for the expansion of Eureka Springs Hospital are well underway. At the Eureka Springs Hospital Commission’s regular monthly meeting on March 20 at The Aud, chair Kent Turner, gave an update, including the recent completion of the “35 percent design.” “We are in a position now where we can present in detail to planning, to HDC, to the city council and to financiers a vision of what the hospital — well, it’s more than a vision, it’s actually a very-detailed description of what the hospital renovation will indeed look like,” Turner said.

Spring Break Fun

The weather for Spring Break in Carroll County was damp last week, but the enthusiasm of youngsters getting a week away from school was not. Whether they were attending Spring Break Camp at the Berryville Library, enjoying the indoor pool at the Berryville Community Center or engaging in some other fun activity, local youngsters made sure to have a good time during their time off.

DETENTION CENTER INTAKE LOG

This listing includes individuals who have been booked into the Carroll County Detention Center. Charges may be reduced or dropped, and individuals are presumed innocent until being found guilty. As of Friday, March 24, a total of 95 inmates were being housed in the detention center.
