Three Berryville High School seniors received some postseason accolades on Monday, capping off their high school basketball careers. Berryville coach Brent Compton said senior Jake Wilson earned all-state honors and also was named to the 4A-1 all-conference team along with classmates Nate Allen and D.J.

The Green Forest softball team lost a doubleheader to Flippin on Monday, March 6, by scores of 20-6 and 13-3. Bella Phillips and Brinley Bishop each had two hits for Green Forest in the first game, while Alyvia Newboles drove in two runs for the Lady Tigers.

First games can be learning experiences. That was certainly the case for the Berryville girls soccer team.

Green Forest boys soccer coach Adam Richter saw some room for improvement from his team in a 2-2 tie against Haas Hall Bentonville on Monday, March 6, but he also saw some things he liked. “I feel good about last week,” Richter said.
