The Greater Berryville Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting on Wednesday, April 5, for Ashley Hinton, the new owner of Trusted Advisor Insurance and United Countryside Realty.

Lucky, again

She could not help it, could not stop sending text messages, making phone calls. Thank Heaven for cell phones, she thought; their conventional, old-fashioned, wireline phone had minutes ago stopped offering a dial tone. Please, let the cell towers keep functioning. The cable television signal was as yet uninterrupted. They are at their best, the TV weather people, when the weather is its worst.

Senior Center Menus, April 11-21, 2023

The Carroll County Senior Activity and Wellness Center is located at 202 W. Madison Ave. in Berryville. The center is open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday. Lunch is served at noon each weekday. The suggested donation for ages 60 and up is $4. There is a $6 charge for those under 60 and all carryout meals. Menus are subject to change.

Michael Werve, 74, of Berryville, Arkansas passed away on March 9, 2023, after years of battling with COPD. Michael was born to parents, Keith Werve and Margaret Ruth Beyers on April 10, 1948, in Decatur, Illinois.
