It’s hard to have a much better day at the plate than Green Forest senior Leah Evans enjoyed against Yellville-Summit on Friday, April 14. Evans went 4-for-4, including a pair of home runs, drove in seven runs and scored four times as the Lady Tigers rolled to a 16-9 road victory.

Taylor’s blast powers Berryville

Berryville junior Emma Taylor got the Lady Bobcats off to a good start in a road game at Elkins on Thursday, April 13, stroking a two-run home run in the first inning to set the tone for a 6-3 victory.

The Green Forest Tigers only had three hits in Friday’s road game against Yellville-Summit, but that was plenty. Pitchers Kasen Robinson and Mason Meador threw a combined no-hitter with 14 strikeouts and the Tigers took advantage of 10 walks and a pair of Panthers errors to cruise to a 6-0 victory.

The program offers qualified farmers a sublease agreement for one of three 15-acre tracts of farmland on a 100acre property in Berryville.
