Groundbreaking for the new building was scheduled for Tuesday morning, April 1, 2025 — exactly four years later. More than $3.5 million has been raised by the Friends of the Berryville Library — enough to cover construction costs — but additional funds are still needed for furnishings. Tuesday is also Library Giving Day.
