Senior Center Menu
The Carroll County Senior Activity and Wellness Center is located at 202 W. Madison Ave. in Berryville. The center is open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday. Lunch is served at noon each weekday. The suggested donation for ages 60 and up is $4. There is a $6 charge for those under 60 and all carryout meals. Breakfast is served Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.

The Flint Street Food Pantry in Eureka Springs is in need of specific items. According to Flint Street director Kathy Barnes, the pantry needs canned tuna, snacks, deodorant, toothpaste, canned soup, razors and shampoo.

The public is invited to attend a discussion in Berryville later this month about building a movement on behalf of Arkansas’ children. The Carroll County Community Foundation and Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families will host a roundtable discussion from 5:30 p.m.

This week’s Pet of the Week is Istredd. Istredd represents the dozens of kittens currently available for adoption or pre-adoption. Kitten season was strong this year and we have cute little fuzz buckets crawling out of our ears.
