Just in time for the holidays, a taste of New York City is coming to the Eureka Springs High School Auditorium Dec. 9-10.

The Friends of the Berryville Library are having a Christmas bake sale fundraiser from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, at the Berryville Library. The library is located at 104 Spring St.. The bake sale will be held in the library’s outer lobby.

Christmas season will swing into full gear across Carroll County this weekend, with Christmas parades in Eureka Springs, Green Forest and Berryville. Eureka Springs’ annual Parade of Lights will roll through downtown starting at 6 p.m.

The Carroll County Senior Activity and Wellness Center is located at 202 W. Madison Ave. in Berryville. The center is open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday. Lunch is served at noon each weekday. The suggested donation for ages 60 and up is $4. There is a $6 charge for those under 60 and all carryout meals. Breakfast is served Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Menus are subject to change.
