Donation to BV library fund will honor literacy project

The Berryville Library Building Fund has received $10,000 to preserve in pictures the tremendous effect placing more books in homes can have on the children of Carroll County. Images of Dolly Parton along with young Carroll County citizens reading books received from her Imagination Library program will be featured on the end of a shelving unit in the new library. With the shelving units standing eight feet high, this will be an almost life-sized tribute to the efforts of the Carroll County Youth Literacy Rotary Foundation that community members will view every time they are in the library for years to come.
