Senior Center Menu

The Carroll County Senior Activity and Wellness Center is located at 202 W. Madison Ave. in Berryville. The center is open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday. Lunch is served at noon each weekday. The suggested donation for ages 60 and up is $4. There is a $6 charge for those under 60 and all carryout meals. Breakfast is served Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Menus are subject to change.

Local students honored at UAFS

Several Carroll County students have been named to the Dean’s List for the spring 2022 semester at the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith, the school has announced. Local students named to the Dean’s List are Marco Garcia Montes, Natalie Roy al and Samantha Witherby, all of Berryville; Hayden Nance of Eureka Springs; and Bianca Rosales and Katherine Tanner, both of Green Forest.

ES council ponders using CAPC money to fund dam project

Dam discussions filled up most of the quick Eureka Springs City Council regular meeting June 27. Coming up with ways to help pay for repairs and improvements to the dam at Black Bass Lake consumed much of the 38-minute meeting at The Auditorium, the majority of time being spent debating whether the City Advertising and Promotion Commission can legally contribute funds to the project.
