The city of Green Forest and the Carroll County Solid Waste District will pick up unwanted bulky waste, scrap material items and yard waste beginning at 6:30 a.m. Saturday, April 22.

The Carroll County Drug Takeback is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Grandma’s House invites everyone to join their team in observing April as Child Abuse Awareness Month. Since the early 1980s, April has been a month filled with extra prevention education, awareness activities and more for Children’s Advocacy Centers across the nation.

This program recognizes Arkansas families who have owned and farmed the same land for at least 100 years.
