The annual Carroll County fair association board meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3, at the Carroll County Cattlemen’s building on the grounds of the Carroll County Fairgrounds. The purpose of the board meeting is to re-elect board members and prospective board members and 2023 officers. If you are interested in being part of the Carroll County Fair and Livestock Association, please make plans to attend this meeting.
Charlie Cross, CEO of CS Bank, has announced the upcoming addition of a Customer Care Center to further support the local bank’s growing client base and geographical footprint. The Customer Care Center, located within the bank’s Berryville facility, will be responsible for assisting customers with daily needs and questions related to their banking, as well as support ing the new video teller platform being migrated to by the bank in its drivethrus later next year.
The Carroll County Senior Activity and Wellness Center is located at 202 W. Madison Ave. in Berryville. The center is open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday. Lunch is served at noon each weekday. The suggested donation for ages 60 and up is $4. There is a $6 charge for those under 60 and all carryout meals. Breakfast is served Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Menus are subject to change.
Coming almost full circle from Springfield, down to Texas and recently back to the Ozarks, Jess Wade, accomplished choral director at Texas A&M University, picked up the baton to conduct his first concert with the Ozarks Chorale on Sunday, Dec. 11, at the Eureka Springs Auditorium.
The Rotary Club of Berryville, representing almost 100 years of service to this community with the motto “Service Above Self,” announced Wednesday, Dec. 7, that it will be contributing $10,000 toward the Berryville Library Building Project.
