2022 was a busy year for the City of Berryville. After nearly two years of uncertainty, occasional chaos and the many disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, our country has begun to return to a more normal way of life.

Time is money, right? So, what is yours worth? Attorneys often bill by the hour, their fee determined by such factors as their education and training, their expertise in dealing with a particular point of law and the length of time the case or issue may require. And, yes, what the market will bear (to include what the client can afford, or will tolerate).

I hate to say I told you so, but … oh heck, I kind of enjoy it. I typically write a Super Bowl prediction column every year, with mixed results.
