Playing without their senior point guard, against probably the best Class 4A team in the state, the odds were stacked against the Berryville Bobcats last Friday night at Bobcat Arena. And the odds held, as a talented Farmington team beat Berryville 68-28 in the 4A-1 conference opener for both teams.

The Berryville Bobcats took home the first-place trophy from the annual Green Forest Holiday Tournament after beating the host team 60-44 in the championship game on Saturday, Dec. 10.

The Green Forest Lady Tigers exacted a measure of revenge in the consolation bracket of the annual Green Forest Holiday Tournament, erasing a big third-quarter deficit and beating the Berryville Lady Bobcats 63-58 on Thursday, Dec. 8, at the Grim Gym.

After playing five road games to start the season, the Berryville Bobcats finally got to play in front of a home crowd with two games last week at BobcatArena. The Bobcats had to come from behind in both games, but still picked up a pair of victories.

The Green Forest Lady Tigers picked up their first two victories of the season last week, beating Lead Hill twice in the Bev Stone Border Classic at Omaha. The Lady Tigers held on for a 50-49 victory over Lead Hill on Monday, Nov.
