After playing five road games to start the season, the Berryville Bobcats finally got to play in front of a home crowd with two games last week at BobcatArena. The Bobcats had to come from behind in both games, but still picked up a pair of victories.
The Berryville Lady Bobcats held their own at last week’s Blue Eye Invitational Tournament, competing toe-to-toe with some talented opposition. Berryville opened the tournament with a 56-26 victory over Reeds Spring in a first-round game on Tuesday, Nov.
The Green Forest Lady Tigers picked up their first two victories of the season last week, beating Lead Hill twice in the Bev Stone Border Classic at Omaha. The Lady Tigers held on for a 50-49 victory over Lead Hill on Monday, Nov.
The Eureka Springs Highlanders weren’t especially sharp offensively in their first game back from the Thanksgiving break, but they were effective enough to beat Decatur 53-30 on Tuesday, Nov. 29, at Highlander Arena.
When the Berryville Bobcats are playing well, they’re capable of scoring a lot of points in a hurry. And the Bobcats played very well against Calico Rock in the Bergman Hoopsgiving Classic on Nov.

Pea Ridge outscored Green Forest 21-5 in the second quarter and went on to beat the Tigers 67-50 on Monday, Nov. 21, in the Turkey Slam tournament at Lincoln High School.
