The second weekend in June is always a special time in the city of Berryville: It’s time for the Annual Berryville Ice Cream Social!
The 40th Annual Ice Cream Social will be held Friday and Saturday, June 12-13, on the historic Berryville Square.
Tyson Foods — Carroll County’s largest employer — is the presenting sponsor for the sixth consecutive year while Hiland Dairy is in its fourth year as the product provider for the Ice Cream Social.
As always, there will be plenty to see and do at this year’s Ice Cream Social, from live music on the Equity Bank stage and a variety of vendor booths starting Friday, June 12, and continuing on Saturday, June 13.
Two new events this year are the Carroll County Historical Society’s Night at the Museum from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, and the Tallest Scoop Races from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday.
Saturday’s events will include the annual 5K run hosted by Grandma’s House, the Berryville Kiwanis Club’s annual youth fishing derby and the Aspen Linz Memorial Ragball Tournament.
As always. the CS Bank Kiddie Corral will be open in the Bank of 1889 parking lot across from Stone Quality Tire to keep the young’uns entertained This year, the Carroll County Farmers Market will host an extension of the Kiddie Corral in Pioneer Park, featuring three bounce houses along with games including cornhole, beach volleyball and more.
Add it all together — and cross your fingers for some pleasant late-spring weather — and it’s sure to be a grand time for the whole family!
