Residents will have an opportunity to learn more about civic engagement and connect with community leaders during the Civic Round Table 2026 event scheduled for Tuesday, June 23.
The nonpartisan community conversation will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Carroll Electric Community Room, located at 920 U.S. 62 Spur in Berryville. Doors will open at 5 p.m.
Organizers describe the event as an evening focused on communication, civic engagement and community connection.
The program is being presented in partnership with Braver Angels and the League of Women Voters of Washington County.
Attendees will have an opportunity to meet representatives from local nonprofit organizations and community leaders, learn about civic engagement opportunities, and participate in open and respectful dialogue with fellow residents. Light refreshments will also be provided.
The event is sponsored by the Civic Minded Coalition of Carroll County, which is encouraging residents to become involved in community discussions and local civic life. Organizers said the goal is to provide a welcoming environment where neighbors can connect, learn and engage with one another on issues affecting their communities.
The coalition is promoting the event with the message, “Connect. Learn. Engage.” and encouraging residents to take part in the conversation and become more involved in their communities.
“Your voice matters. Your community needs you,” organizers said.
