The Carroll County Board of Equalization will be in session beginning Aug. 1.
The board is made up of five community members who are professionals in the local housing market and are charged with the duty of equalizing the assessed value of all properties located in the county that are subject to taxation.
Anyone wishing to set an appointment with the Board of Equalization shall do so by application. Please contact the Carroll County Clerkâs office at 870-423-2022 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday. Applications are available on the web at carrollcounty.us. You can also request an application be sent by email or mail.
Remember, applications to go before the Board of Equalization must be postmarked by midnight on Aug. 18.
