Inspirational speaker and author visits Green Forest Library April 17

Amanda Hoenes will be presenting at the Green Forest Public Library at 6 p.m. Thursday April 17.

Hoenes is an inspirational speaker who solo kayaked 3,300 miles from the Missouri headwaters to the Gulf of Mexico. Her only companion was her dog, Hank. Hoenes will share her kayaking adventure with us and speak about how it impacted her life. She will discuss perseverance, patience, faith, hard work and digging deeper.

Hoenes is the founder of True Path Adventures, a company that brings skills acquired in outdoor adventures such as planning, risk assessment, and critical thinking to broaden prospectives and enhance leadership abilities. She is an author, entrepreneur, adventurer and former United States Marine. Her book is titled “Digging Deeper.”
