Kendall Gonce drove in four runs and Bailey Skelton and Haliegh Keith added three RBI apiece to highlight a big day offensively as the Berryville Lady Bobcats defeated Huntsville 19-4 in four innings in high school softball action on Tuesday, April 1.
Berryville finished with 15 hits, led by three apiece from Keith and Codi Joubert. Joubert scored four runs and Keith had three runs scored.
Berryville scored seven runs in the bottom of the first inning for a 7-1 lead, then added three more to make it 10-1 after two. After Huntsville cut the lead to 10-4, the Lady Bobcats scored once in the bottom of the third and put the game away with eight runs in the bottom of the fourth.
Skelton was the winning pitcher.
Berryville, which lost at Gravette and Gentry before losing at home to Pea Ridge last week, played at Harrison on Monday, April 14. The Lady Bobcats will travel to Prairie Grove on Tuesday, April 15, before hosting Green Forest on Thursday, April 17, and Yellville-Summit on Friday, April 18.
