Four Carroll County golfers have advanced to play in their respective high school state tournaments.
Berryville’s Titus Gregory qualified for the Class 4A boys state tournament by shooting an 88 in the 4A-1 district tournament on Tuesday, Sept. 24, at The Highlands in Bella Vista. Teammate Carley Ward shot a 108 to earn a spot in the Class 4A girls state tournament.
Eureka Springs’ Drew Farrar qualified for the Class 2A boys state tournament, shooting a season-best 103 in the 2A-1 district tournament on Tuesday, Sept. 24, at The Creeks in Cave City. The Lady Highlanders’ Breanna Ray tied for first place in the girls division at the district tournament, shooting 122 to qualify for the state tournament.
The Class 2A girls state tournament will be played Tuesday, Oct. 1, at Glenwood Country Club, with the 4A girls state tournament being played the same day at Magellan Golf Course in Hot Springs Village.
The Class 2A and Class 4A boys tournaments will be played Tuesday, Oct. 8, with the 2A tournament at Glenwood Country Club and the 4A tournament at Desoto Golf Course at Hot Springs Village.
