It’s the last week to tee up for a good cause! Registration is still open for Fore!Word, the Friends of the Berryville Library’s golf tournament fundraiser, to be held Saturday, April 25, at the Carroll County Country Club.
This three-person scramble kicks off with registration at 8 a.m., followed by a 9 a.m. shotgun start. Teams can register at the Carroll County Country Club or by texting Dave at 479-244-5387. The cost is $60 for members and $80 for non-members and includes a lunch of carnitas burritos provided by Taqueria El Guerito and Rancho Latino.
“We’re excited to welcome avid golfers for a fun day on the course, great food, and even better community spirit,” said Friends president Elaine Floyd, “Every swing helps support our library in Carroll County.”
This year’s event is made possible thanks to the generous support of sponsors:
Title Sponsors: Jo Ann Clark State Farm Insurance and Nabholz Construction
Bestseller Sponsors: Bank of 1889, Brashears, Ozark Family Dentistry, and Tonya Williams Shelter Insurance
Bookmark Sponsors: Carroll County Republican Women, Johnnie and Pam Curtis, Island Airco and Montgomery Whiteley Realty
Don’t miss your chance to play in this fun-filled day for a great cause. Registration closes soon and is filling up fast, so gather your team and sign up now!
