Spring Break Camp scheduled March 24-28 at BV library

Posted

During this year’s spring break, children ages 8 and up have the unique opportunity to embark on a virtual journey around the world at no cost. The Berryville Library will host “Around the World in 5 Days” from p.m. to 5 p.m. daily from March 24 through March 28, as part of its Spring Break series.

“This year’s Spring Break Camp might be one of our best-themed weeks yet, offering children the chance to learn about places far, far away from their hometown,” library director Julie Hall said.

The theme, “Around the World in 5 Days,” includes plans to virtually visit different countries in North America on Monday, South America on Tuesday, Africa on Wednesday, Europe on Thursday and Asia on Friday. Each day will provide opportunities to learn fun facts about the way people live in the countries visited, along with an introduction to the languages they speak, the foods they eat, the games they play, and more. There will be snacks and prizes, too.

Attendance is free. Participants are not required to attend every day and can come and go as their schedule allows.

Don’t let your children or grandchildren miss out on this exciting week of free Spring Break activities at the Berryville Public Library.
