Posted

Charles Kent Epperson of Bella Vista, formerly of Berryville, Arkansas, passed away on April 21, 2025, at the age of 70. Charles was born September 12, 1954, to W.R. (Bill) and Helen Fancher Epperson.

Charles, known by many as Charlie, enjoyed watching westerns and had a great sense of humor. While living at Concordia in Bella Vista, he had a wonderful companion, “Fat Cat,” a sweet kitty that survives him.

Charles was of the Berryville High School class of 1972. He was also a military veteran. He spent four years in the Air Force, stationed at Wurtsmith AF Base in Michigan and was a member of the 142nd National Guard Field Artillery and was deployed in Desert Storm. He retired as Sergeant E-6 from the service.

He was a hard worker, employed by propane companies in NW Arkansas for a number of years, and before retiring worked for Beaver Lake Aviation in Rogers. Charles is survived by his mother, Helen Epperson; daughter, Ashley Lee of Bella Vista; his son, Brooks Epperson (Sammie) of Bella Vista; sister, Ann Barnett of Arizona; two brothers, Bob Epperson of Arizona and Bill Epperson (Randi) of Elkins, Arkansas; four grandchildren: Maddox and Sam Lee, Charlee Epperson, Landon Anderson, as well as nephew, Wes Edens (Melanie) of Glendale, Arizona; and niece, Susan Edens of Clarksville, Arkansas.

Charles was preceded in death by his father, William Robert Epperson.

Service is currently being planned for autumn, Charles’ favorite time of year.
