Jacqueline Lee Powers of Green Forest, Arkansas was born March 25, 1946, in Berryville, Arkansas to James Alfred and Garry Inez (Newman) Atchley.

Jackie passed away Monday, December 30, 2024, at the age of 78.

Jackie had many interests including being outdoors, fishing, farming and riding horses. She was also multi-talented in many areas including quilting, stained glass, woodworking, oil painting, even electrical work and taxidermy. She was honest and hard-working, doing taxes for many years, photo retouching, installing flooring, and raising her family. Jackie had a personal relationship with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and loved to encourage people to have a closer walk with Him. She was a member of Oak Grove Freewill Baptist Church for 30 years and also attended Mt Olivet Free Will Baptist Church for 30 years. She was active in church, teaching classes, doing Bible school, playing the organ, and wherever else needed done.

Jackie married Harlen Wayne Powers on October 26, 1963. They treasured 61 years together, making many cherished memories for their family.

Jackie is survived by her husband, Harlen Powers; daughter, Shena Lovett and husband Roy; son, Darren Powers and wife Marian; daughter, Jaime Finch and husband Jimmie; six grandchildren, Daniel Lovett, Austin Lovett, Anna Champlin, Dakota Powers, Ethan Finch and Andrew Finch; three great-grandchildren, Chase Lovett, Lana Lovett, and Baby Champlin, many other family and friends who will miss her greatly.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Inez Atchley.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Oak Grove Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Curtis Bradley and Wayne Writer officiating. Interment will be at Hale Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Hale Cemetery, c/o Ryan Winkle, 8701 Hwy 21 N, Berryville, AR 72616. Arrangements under the direction of Nelson
