MarshallLarry Keith Marshall, age 81, of Ashland, Missouri, passed away on January 19, 2025, at Boone Hospital Center.
He was born on July 3, 1943, to Henry and Lois Martin Marshall at Blue Eye, Arkansas. He married Lois Campbell on July 30, 1976, and she survives the home.
Larry served his country in the U.S. Army, Reserves and Missouri National Guard for 24 years, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. He worked as a loan officer in a number of banks before becoming a commercial pilot. He volunteered as a Boone County Special Deputy, officiated basketball and volleyball, and was an assistant Middle School football coach for Southern Boone. He loved all sports and also raised and showed horses for many years.
Family meant everything to Larry. He is survived by his wife, Lois of 48 years; son, Timothy; brother, Bryce Marshall; half-sister, Jacquelyn Miller; greatniece, Kasi Nelson and her daughter, Whitney.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gordon Marshall; half-sister, Charlyn Rice; niece, Mandi Marshall Chaney; sister-in-law, Sharon Bedsworth Marshall and mother-in-law, Donna Gayle Campbell.
Memorial contributions are suggested to your favorite charity.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 7 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by services at Robinson-Yager Funeral Home in Ashland.
